LIGHT COMING FORTH

 

 

 

This is the time to see the new landing field that the Lord has prepared for you.  For those of you who have been in a molting season of shedding the old and being refurbished with new, there are new assignments.  There are new people, there are new places.  God is bringing together His people of like hearts and like minds for revealing His glory in their midst and for revealing his glory in the earth.

John 1:3-5 – Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.  In him was life, and that life was the light of men.  The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood.

John 8:12 – When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

In the scriptures “glory” is equated with “light”.  When the glory of God is released, it is released in the form of light.  As the glory of God is revealed in our lives, and we reflect the light that comes from Him, we too become the light of the world.  We are called as followers of Christ to bring His light into the dark areas of the world and especially to our areas of influence.

I John 1:5-7 - This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you:  God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

This is a time to seek fellowship with those of like hearts and kindred spirits so the spiritual union we enjoy with Christ can carry over into our earthly relationships.  This is a time to shed all darkness that is trying to shroud us so we live in confusion and defeat.  Seek those who live in truth, seek those of pure hearts. Fellowship with those of like faith and with Holy Spirit that you might walk and live in the light as He is the light.

There is an excitement for what God is doing.  There are landing lights on the path ahead.  Look for the landing lights so there is no landing in the wrong field.  Listen to direction from the tower, the high tower of Jesus Christ.  Look for the beam of light so you don’t crash.  There are new destinations, new places to go, new people to see.  You are on the move towards divine encounters.

There are unfamiliar and unknown areas.  Do not fear.  Step out in faith knowing that the angelic host is warring on your behalf. The yoke is easy, the burden light.

Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path.
